Cor Scorpii - Attergangar

Cor Scorpii is yet another band formed by Windir-members and related bands (Vreid, Ulcus). It won't surprise many of you to hear that Cor Scorpii strongly clings on to the musical stylistic elements of it's ancestor. So Cor Scorpii plays utter harmonious black metal with a classical approach on keys as a new element. De leads are once again marvellously melodic and emotional and withstand the Windir comparison with ease.

Vocals range from black metalshrieks to normal. Some piano interludes provide strong breaking points in the songs. This demo 'Attergangar' sounds good although the drums are a bit under-produced. The only thing that surprises me is that these guys haven't found a label 'cause to me this band is worthier than Vreid for instance and that's no bad outfit by all means!
